Inside the Georgia Peanut Commission building, WC-9, you can find an opportunity to make a difference. By donating $1 for a jar a peanut butter you can help to place peanuts and peanut products in the hands of those who need them most. Peanut butter is the number one most requested item by food banks due to its nutritious, inexpensive, and shelf-stable characteristics. Peanut Proud has donated more than 60,000 jars of peanut butter to help those who had to endure the flooding of Louisiana. To make a lifesaving donation, visit Peanut Proud’s website at www.peanutproud.com or come in and learn more on-site in the Georgia Peanut Commission Building.
