You won’t want to miss what the Backyard Garden has to offer this year at the Sunbelt Ag Expo. Located just on the west side of the Expo grounds, Flint River Fresh will be hosting interactive demonstrations every day. From flower clippings to irrigation systems, there’s something for everyone to enjoy and learn from.
At the heart of it all, you’ll find Fredando “Farmer Fredo” Jackson, whose expertise and passion for fresh food shine through in every demonstration. Whether you’re an experienced grower or just planting your first seed, Farmer Fredo promises to leave you inspired and equipped with new knowledge.
This year, Flint River Fresh is teaming up with the University of Georgia to show attendees how to transform even a small corner of their backyard into a sustainable garden. Farmer Fredo believes everyone deserves access to fresh, homegrown food and he’s committed to showing you how to make it happen.
I’m especially excited to see what he has in store for Expo-goers this year, take part in the hands-on demonstrations, and maybe even sample some farm-fresh honey straight from the source.
