More than just 10-gallon hats and large jeweled buckles, the Miss Sunbelt Expo Rodeo Queen Royalty serves each day at the equine arena towards the north end of the grounds. Eight ladies competed over this summer to represent the Sunbelt Expo with their title. This morning, these queens, princesses, and misses were affectionately introduced to the Expo goers. Over the next two days, the girls will participate in equine and rodeo events, such as goat roping and clinician demonstrations.
Serving as spokespersons throughout the week, attendees can find a smiling face and a friendly advocate in the Sunbelt Rodeo Royalty. It is not uncommon to see them saying the pledge of allegiance at luncheons, or assisting in different events across the grounds. These ladies are excellent promoters of the Georgia equine industry and hold a healthy passion for their titles. Each morning, eight cowgirl hats appear outside the equine arena, and an introduction ceremony is held.
This is year eleven for the Miss Sunbelt Expo Rodeo Queen Pageant. Since the inaugural pageant, hundreds of girls have been through the program. Miss Cindy Winn serves as chairperson for the pageant and guides the girls during the week of Expo. This event is her pride and joy and has been made largely possible by her dedication to the addition to the annual program.
Traveling in from other states, other rodeo royalty will join these ladies at the Expo, and make an appearance on behalf of their regions. By the end of the week, thirty rodeo queens will have been through Moultrie. This element of the Expo serves as enjoyment to many visitors and has a strong presence each year. Join the rodeo supporters and fans each day at the equine arena with the Miss Sunbelt Expo Rodeo Queen Royalty.
