Engines thundered and dirt flew as the Antique and Garden Tractor Pull returned for its third year at the Sunbelt Ag Expo, proving that tradition and horsepower never go out of style. This fan-favorite event attracts people of all ages to cheer in the stands. What began as a small, new event has quickly turned into one of Expo’s most popular attractions, drawing competitors and spectators from North Georgia all the way down to Central Florida.
According to Joey Norman, the Pull Boss of Slo Jo GT Pullers, the pulls are “growing every year.” He shared that more tractors are arriving annually, and the excitement from both participants and fans continues to grow.
“Everybody’s already talking about next year,” Norman said. “They’ve all promised to be back in 2026 with friends and more tractors.”
The Antique Tractor Pull showcases decades of pride and history. Lined up in rows, the shiny, rumbling tractors are from decades ago, each with its own story and a crowd cheering it on.
Participants spend countless hours maintaining their antique tractors, making each pull not just a test of power but a tribute to heritage.
The Garden Tractor Pull carries the same spirit and pride. Norman explained that it’s been “a challenge getting 70 to 80 tractors here,” but the team still managed to gather 20 competitors this year. Each competitor is ready to give it their all. The garden classes continue to grow and draw interest as more people get involved in the sport.
Pullers competed in several different classes, including Child’s 5 Horsepower, Open RPM 12-15 Horsepower, Stock V-Twin, Modified V-Twin and Open V-Twin. For fans of speed and innovation, the Outlaws class, featuring motorcycle engines and the Mini Rod Class, powered by V8 car engines, brought plenty of excitement and horsepower to the track.
This year’s tractor pulls proved to be another huge success, with more participants, bigger crowds and plenty of excitement all around. From antique classics to garden tractors, each run down the track captures the spirit of friendly competition and pride that defines the Sunbelt Ag Expo. With momentum like this, next year’s event promises to be even bigger and better.
