The Georgia Department of Agriculture’s Georgia Grown program is partnering with Subway restaurants to raise awareness of the contributions made my Georgia farmers in producing fresh sandwich toppings. This fall you will be able to see the partnership launching with billboards, radio commercials, and digital ads. Subway restaurants buy more than 8 million pounds of Georgia grown tomatoes, cucumbers, and green peppers annually. Georgia Grown and Subway will discuss this historic partnership Tuesday, October 18th at 3 p.m. You can witness the media event first hand outside of the Georgia Department of Agriculture building.
