The shiny, new demonstration chutes sit still and pristine now, but over the next few days, they will soon be put to use as the live cattle demonstrations start daily outside the Beef Pavilion. Many attendees quickly state that their favorite element of the Sunbelt Ag Expo is the livestock barns and the events they can find each day surrounding them. The activity and movement create excitement for everyone and offer a space for community among agriculturalists.
Under the livestock barns, all ages can be found drawing enjoyment and information from the vendors, booths, animals, and more. Families can walk through and discover something for each individual. Youth organizations discover opportunities while producers find information. Other booths and barns work alongside ones like the beef barn to provide the complete experience.
Livestock equipment companies, like Priefert, enjoy showcasing their pieces, and informing how this equipment can benefit the industry. Rarely does one find an organization that exhibits materials with livestock in real-time as the companies do for the Expo.
The entirety of the southeastern agricultural industry joins together for the Sunbelt Ag Expo each October. Differing entities find common ground in promoting the industry that feeds the world. Producers and consumers alike have a place to be involved during the Expo. This incredible event showcases the various components that, when pieced together, offer a complete puzzle of agriculture. To experience and be a part of this event that highlights this annual culmination, what could be more fulfilling for an agriculturalist?
