The equine barn is stirring up loads of fun at this year’s Expo. From beauty queens to trick riders, the barn will host an array of featured guests and demonstrations. Visitors with backgrounds in the equine industry or those with a love for the thrill of trick riding will enjoy this showcase of Georgia equine. Saddle up and visit the equine barn and Priefert Arena!

During the three days of equine demonstrations at the Priefert Arena, Mrs. Cindy Wynn heads up the demos. Wynn works for the University of Georgia as a County Extension Agent in Thomas County. Wynn is excited to present a clinician, Bill Kaven, and a trick rider, Analise Granger.

The headliner clinician, Bill Kaven, is from Lake Villa, Illinois, and has roots in Colorado. With over 35 years of equine experience under his belt, Kaven is a carded judge with the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) and the National Snaffle Bit Association (NSBA). According to Wynn, Kaven has judged and officiated in the United States and abroad such noted events as the NSBA World Show, the AQHA Select World, and the AQHA Youth World Show. Bill is currently employed at the National Snaffle Bit Association. Bill works with the Show and Judges Department along with the Breeders Championship Futurity Yearling Sale.

Analise Granger is a 19-year-old trick rider from Dothan, Alabama. Her tricks will have visitors on the edge of their seats as she shows off her sixteen years of riding experience and six years of trick riding experience. Previously named a Reserve World Champion, Granger performs across the southeast. She holds regional and affiliate titles. Her passions include training others in trick riding and sharing her love for the Lord.

Horses in the riding demonstrations are courtesy of 5 Wynn Horse Company in Pavo, Georgia — a company owned by Cindy and her husband Henry. Wynn Custom Leather, owned by their son J.T., and Sunnie Dee’s Salty Cowgirl, owned by their daughter Sunnie, will display their product lines in conjunction with the demonstrations.
