We are excited to partner with Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and its Agricultural Communication program, with six young professionals who will cover the 2026 Sunbelt Ag Expo on on the grounds capturing every part of the Expo.

WHY WE EXPO: I wanted to be part of the Expo Social Media Team to strengthen my skills, make connections and experience a different side of the Sunbelt Ag Expo. Growing up, I attended the Expo with my dad, so being able to work behind the scenes and meet the vendors, sponsors and leaders who make the event possible has been a full-circle experience. It’s given me a new appreciation for everything that goes into creating the Expo each year.

WHY WE EXPO: Meeting new people in the agricultural industry and sharing their stories is what drew me to the Expo Social Media Team. Being part of the Expo Social Media Team has allowed me to gain hands-on experience in agricultural communications while working at one of the largest agricultural events in the Southeast. It has been a great opportunity to learn while doing what I enjoy.

Seeing so many areas of the agricultural industry come together in one place has given me a new appreciation for the impact of the Expo. It has given me valuable hands-on experience while strengthening my passion for a career in agricultural communications.

WHY WE EXPO: The Expo Social Media Team was the perfect opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and gain a better understanding of what it takes to support an event like this. My degree has given me a strong foundation, and this experience has allowed me to apply those skills in a real-world setting while helping tell the stories of the Sunbelt Ag Expo. WHY WE EXPO: Growing up, I always looked forward to attending the Sunbelt Ag Expo. This year, I get to experience it from a completely different perspective by helping tell the stories behind the event. Working alongside the Social Media Team has strengthened my agricultural communications skills while showing me what it takes to bring one of the largest agricultural events in the Southeast to life.

AGRICULTURAL STORY I COULD TELL FOR HOURS: How agriculture connects communities through the stories behind it.
WHY WE EXPO: My dad used to pull me across the grounds in a little red wagon, and since then, I’ve experienced the Expo as a high school volunteer, an ABAC Ambassador and now as part of the Expo Social Media Team. Being able to help tell the stories behind the people, businesses and traditions that make the Expo so special is an opportunity I couldn’t pass up, and I can’t wait to help capture those moments for others to enjoy.
